(Washington, DC) – In recognition of President Reagan's 100th birthday in February 2011, Log Cabin Republicans, the nation's oldest and largest Republican gay advocacy organization is proud to participate in the Republican National Committee's Reagan 99 volunteer recruitment program in advance of the November 2010 mid-term elections.

The Reagan 99 initiative allows third party organizations like Log Cabin Republicans to better activate their nationwide membership to elect Republican candidates in 2010 and fire Nancy Pelosi.

The Log Cabin Republican's participation will help Party recruitment efforts towards the election of Republicans at the Local, State, and Federal levels.

"The Log Cabin Republicans is proud to join with Republicans nationwide to activate and engage our broad membership as we move into the 2010 and 2012 election cycles," commented R. Clarke Cooper, Executive Director of Log Cabin Republicans. "We all appreciate the local impact of political engagement, and we are uniquely positioned to put our 'boots on the ground' in key races across the nation to ensure GOP victories come November.
